Dr. Malhotra loves creating a safe, comfortable and confident environment for children to come into as they have their teeth examined on every visit. Dr. Malhotra’s extensive training within the field of pediatric dentistry has equipped him with a unique passion for working with children that gives kids a great, positive start to a lifetime of excellent dental experiences.

Education & Professional Expertise

Dr. Malhotra began his academic journey at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree from 1998 to 2001. He then continued his education at the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS degree between 2001 and 2005.

Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center from 2005 to 2006, where he gained advanced training in comprehensive dental care and patient management.

Driven by his passion for working with children, Dr. Malhotra pursued a Pediatric Dental Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center from 2010 to 2012, where he served as Chief Resident from 2011 to 2012. This specialized training provided him with expertise in child development, behavior guidance, pediatric sedation, and treating children with a wide range of dental needs.

Dr. Malhotra continues to stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry and is dedicated to providing modern, evidence based care to his patients.

Professional Experience

Dr. Rupin Malhotra has been providing patient focused care as a pediatric and general dentist for 10 years.

He was Co Owner of Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry from January 2014, In Brooklyn, New York. “At Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry of Williamsburg Brooklyn, Dr. Malhotra provides comprehensive pediatric dental care in a child friendly and parent friendly atmosphere perfect for children of all ages”.

He has been an Attending at Mount Sinai Medical Center since July 2012. Dr. Malhotra participates in the clinical care of patients and is also involved in training the next generation of dental professionals.

Dr. Malhotra was a Pediatric Dentist at Kids Dental Village from September 2010 to May 2016, where he focused on preventive care and restorations. He worked as a General Dentist at Robert Kravecs LLC in Fairfield, Connecticut from July 2007 to May 2010, caring for patients of all ages. He received his early experience as a General Practice Resident at Montefiore Medical Center.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Malhotra enjoys family time, staying active, and giving back to the community. He loves helping educate families about the important role preventive care plays to arm parents with the knowledge of how daily habits affect long term oral health.
