Education & Professional Expertise

Dr. Rafay Hussain’s educational history started at Case Western Reserve University where he earned a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship & Entrepreneurial Studies August 1998 to June 2002, providing him with the basis for strong leadership and patient centered care. After completing this degree program, he continued his education at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS degree between August 2002 and June 2006, during which time he received a strong clinical background in all aspects of dentistry.

Following dental school, Dr. Hussain pursued specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from July 2011 to June 2013. This advanced training equipped him with in depth knowledge of child development, behavior management, and comprehensive pediatric dental care.

Dr. Hussain continues to stay updated with modern advancements in pediatric dentistry and is committed to delivering high quality, evidence based treatment for children of all ages.

Professional Experience

Dr Hussain has extensive experience in providing pediatric dental care, merging clinical skills with a focus on the child patient. He is presently employed within the Pediatric Dentistry Department of Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry, where he provides a full range of services to children in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Dr Hussain has been the owner of Bitesize Pediatric Dentistry since January 2014 in Brooklyn, NY, and is responsible for both the administrative and clinical operations. As such, he ensures that all patients receive the best possible care in a state of the art child friendly environment.

Through his dual leadership and clinical roles, Dr Rafay Hussain is dedicated to developing a dental practice that embodies comfort, innovation and excellence in pediatric dentistry.
